City of Philadelphia ENJOINED from enforcing lost and stolen firearm ordinance

Due to the steadfast support of Firearm Owners Against Crime (FOAC) and Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC), Chief Counsel Joshua Prince of the Firearms Industry Consulting Group (FICG) was successful, pursuant to an Order issued on January 9, 2020, in enjoining the enforcement of the City of Philadelphia’s lost and stolen firearm ordinance, until a final decision can be rendered by the court.

Specifically, as stated by the Order:

4. The City of Philadelphia’s enforcement of Philadelphia Code §10-838a is hereby ENJOINED until a final determination is rendered in this matter.

Please join us in thanking FOAC and FPC for supporting this extremely important litigation!

If you or someone you know has been the victim of an unlawful municipal firearm or ammunition regulation or ordinance, contact FICG today to discuss your options.
