Russian Roulette Pt 8 – And The Tides Turn…

When I wrote Russian Roulette Pt 7 – Just When You Thought It Couldn’t Get Any Worse…And State Committee Is Set To Meet Sept 29-30th…, I never thought I’d be writing another article so soon. Any yet, here I am and this time with different news.

Last night, my phone and email started blowing up, in relation to my prior article and more specifically, in relation to the forthcoming reorganizational meeting that was scheduled for Monday (yes, on Yom Kippur…but I digress) and a 4:35 PM email sent by the PA GOP canceling the re-organizational meeting. Interestingly, the email, inter alia, contends that the reorganizational meeting was “to facilitate an opportunity for its duly elected members to elect their own leaders, and to bring their bylaws into alignment with the election code and the state committee.”

But how just exactly would “duly elected members” elect their own leaders, when BCRC’s Bylaws already provide for the vice-chair becoming chair, in the event of the chair’s vacancy? Moreover, setting aside the Bylaws, with only the chair having been removed, would there be even an ability to elect “leaders,” plural? And then, there’s the comment about bringing the “bylaws into alignment with the election code and the state committee.” This is the first, to my understanding, that there has been any contention that the Bylaws aren’t in alignment with the election code and whatever is meant by “the state committee” (although, I assume what was meant was the State Committee Bylaws). So, what are the issues that require “alignment”? In this series, I’ve discussed numerous occasions where county GOP bylaws were not in alignment with the State Committee Bylaws, and yet, it has seemingly fallen on deaf ears, as we’ve seen the unlawful purge of Patriots from county GOPs.

So, is this a turning of the tide? That’s hard to say, as nothing has been done – at least of yet – in relation to those who were removed unlawfully from their county GOP positions. And this is extremely concerning, at least to me, given the upcoming November elections, as many Patriots have stated that they either intend to boycott or do write-ins for the upcoming election as a result of the purge. I’ve also heard that a lot of Patriots intend to change their party affiliation to the Constitutional Party for purposes of future elections.

It is imperative, now more than ever, with the November elections only a month and a half away, that a several-day meeting be called with all the factions, during which, all the issues, disagreements and other turmoil, be addressed and resolved, for the good of the Party. We must unite, if there is any chance of being successful in November.

  1. I have left several comments on this subject and series of posts. At this point I believe that somebody either has legitimate complaints or / and legal issues as you have stated in previous posts and on this one . Will be interesting to see what the State GOP does – as it seems they are not doing things properly as you have stated ( I’m far from an expert ) . It almost seems like somebody or more are calling out there improper handling – would be nice to see things settled peacefully and people reinstated and problems solved ? Just my humble opinion ?
