Pottstown PAL – IWI Tavor (IDF version) RAFFLE!!!

The Pottstown Area Police Athletic League (PAL) is holding a raffle for an Israeli Weapons Industry (IWI) Tavor IDF Rifle with Mepro 21 Reflex Sight, which was donated by Kenney’s Custom Props, LLC, a Hollywood prop design company and manufacturer of firearms. The IWI Tavor rifle is a 100% ambidextrous, 5.56 caliber bull pup rifle originally designed in Israel with the assistance of the Israeli Defense Force (IDF).

PAL would like to formally express its gratitude to Kenney’s Custom Props for its generous donations. These donations ensure that we can continue to provide the Tri-County Community with programs that not only support our youth, but support the entire community. Here is your opportunity to own a beautiful firearm, at a fraction of the cost, while supporting the Pottstown Area PAL!

Tickets are $20 a piece or 3 for $50 and the drawing will occur during the Pottstown PAL’s Beef and Beverage on February 8, 2014, at the Boyertown Orioles in Boyertown, PA.

Because of the unique nature of this raffle and as specified on the back of all tickets all purchasers agree to the following Terms:

TERMS, CONDITIONS, RELEASE OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK and HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT

Purchaser is subject to all State and Federal Laws and Regulations regarding transfer and possession of firearms. Accordingly, Purchaser hereby warrants and affirms, pursuant to 18 PA.C.S. Section 4903 – False Swearing, that he/she is not prohibited under State or Federal law from the purchase, transfer or possession of a firearm. If Purchaser is prohibited from the transfer or possession of a firearm, he/she agrees that he/she forfeits all rights to the firearm, including the value thereof and the amount paid for the raffle ticket. In that event, the firearm remains the property of the Pottstown Area P.A.L. By purchasing this ticket, Purchaser hereby releases, indemnifies, and promises to defend and hold harmless Pottstown Area P.A.L., Kenney’s Custom Props, LLC, and their officers, members, directors, owners, employees, agents, and representatives, from any and all legal claims, lawsuits, causes of actions, damages, expenses, injuries or costs related to the use, possession, or transfer of the raffled firearm. Purchaser declares that his/her participation in this raffle is purely voluntary and is neither compelled to participate in the raffle nor execute this Agreement.

With our 2nd Amendment rights being attacked at both the Federal and State level, and the ATF (Burea of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives) trying to close down FFLs (Federal Firearms Licensees) for minor infractions while making FFLs the scapegoat when the ATF's records are inaccurate, I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I am one of only a handful of attorneys across the US that practices in the niche area of law known as firearms law. I also planned and taught several Firearms in Estates CLE classes for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute (PBI). While at Widener Law School, I was a member of the Widener Law Journal. I wrote an article on the Inaccuracy of the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record (NFRTR). I also had an article published on Fee Disputes in Workers Compensation cases in the Widener Law Journal, Volume 18, No. 2. You can often find me posting on several internet forums, including Subguns, Uzitalk, AR15, and PAFOA. I also hold PA Firearms Law classes for local ranges to inform the public on the firearm laws of the Commonwealth. Following in my father's footsteps, I am also a Board member for the Pottstown Police Athletic League (PAL).
